He developed Bollinger Bands®, a popular technical analysis tool that adapts to volatility using standard deviation. His influential book, “Bollinger on Bollinger Bands” (2001), has been translated into eleven languages.
Since 1987, Bollinger has published the Capital Growth Letter, providing technical analysis of financial markets. He pioneered the concept of Rational Analysis, which integrates technical, fundamental, quantitative, and behavioral analysis.
